1-Most common cause is looseness of the denture.That could be again due to
(a)limitations of existing normal anatomical
structures.
(b)Denture fabrication errors. |
2-pain & ulceration:This could be due to
(a)undue peripheral extensions.
(b)accentuation of occlusal load causing traumatic occlusion.
(c)unpolished surface.
(d)retained root,sharp bony prominences under the mucosa.
